We’re thrilled to announce that our client Blue Line Engineering was honored with an award from Lockheed Martin’s Space Division as Outstanding Small Business Supplier for 2022. The award is based on on-time delivery and zero defects.

Founded in Colorado Springs, CO, and privately-held, Blue Line is a certified Veteran-Owned Small Business. The company is a recognized leader in precision sensors and technologies for position measurement and control.

Lockheed Martin Space collaborates with more than 1,000 suppliers, so being recognized as a leader among them is truly remarkable. And the award came with high praise from Brian Hawley, program manager at Lockheed.

In the recent awards ceremony, he said, “The product that you provide… It’s exquisite. But it’s also been a great partnership. You took extra steps to ensure that we have early delivery of first-flight hardware coming in for our program, and that was fantastic. You also went above and beyond with making sure that this product exceeded all performance specifications, investing your own time and effort on making sure that some out-of-family characteristics you identified were taken care of, even though it passed spec.”

Having worked with the team at Blue Line Engineering to identify and secure their intellectual property, we’re not surprised by the award or the praise. The company is the definition of excellence in everything it does. Martensen IP is grateful to partner with such an outstanding organization.
