Congratulations to Martensen IP client Parsons Corp. for winning a $185 million contract with the U.S. Space Force—specifically, the Space and Missile Systems Center Special Programs Directorate in Los Angeles. The new agreement comes on the heels of a $12.6 billion indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) multiple-award task order contract by the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) in March 2021.
The new competitive award, managed by the Federal Systems Integration and Management Center of the General Services Administration (GSA), is a five-year agreement that expands on the existing contract related to a software suite owned by the U.S. government and used by the Department of Defense (DoD) and other agencies.
The system supports the development of applications by more than 5,000 users on classified networks. In addition to software development, the new contract includes services in domain awareness, data analytics and intelligence, astrophysics, space vehicle launch characterization, orbit determination, satellite breakup modeling and simulation, and others.
Martensen IP is proud to collaborate with Parsons on the intellectual property produced by its important work!
